Appeals of Denied Claims

Once a benefit claim is denied, it is imperative that the administrative appeal to the insurer be done completely and within the required time limit.  Failure to do so may well doom your claim.

We can advise you on how to prepare the administrative appeal or, at your request, prepare the entire appeal package for submission.

Court Proceedings

If the insurer denies your administrative appeal, we can associate with your local attorney to assist in the court proceedings.  If you reside in Virginia, Maryland or D.C., we can serve as your trial counsel.

Getting Information About Your Benefits

Some insurers and employers don't comply with the law that says they must give you requested information about your benefits.  We can make the proper request for you and show you how to receive damages for their failure to abide by the law.

We perform a confidential review of the administrative file and your draft pleadings to fine-tune your approach to your ERISA case.  We can spot potential problems and make suggestions for a better outcome.  We are retained by your firm, and our review can be billed by you as a flat-fee cost item.  We always respect your relationship with your client and will not contact the client except as requested by you.
